The movies of Star Wars are full of exciting villains, but even outside the cinema, there are numerous rogues that deserve a place on the big screen. Below we present our favorites.
How was the list created? Star Wars has produced some iconic antagonists. Just think of Darth Vader or Darth Sidious, aka Palpatine. Almost every child knows them, but outside the major films, there are equally interesting characters.
In this list, we have selected a range of 10 villains who deserve an appearance in the cinema – whether as a main character or as a villain opposing the heroes. The individual figures do not compete with each other in this case, which is why we have not assigned them any rankings.
They are all pretty cool in their own right and just a selection from many other potential candidates. If you know any more, feel free to share them with us in the comments at the end.
Darth Bane

Let’s start with a true legend from the Star Wars universe. Darth Bane was a human who rose to become a Sith Lord and had to witness the mighty Empire disintegrate. This inspired him to create the so-called “Rule of Two”.
It states that there should always be one Master and one Apprentice among the Sith to maintain balance in the Force. This story would be wonderful for a movie. The rule, after all, had a great influence on the further history of the Sith and the galaxy, and could provide enough material for an exciting, fairly dark cinematic experience.
