Rank 7: Capacius Extremis
Capacius Extremis is the incantation for an undetectable extension charm. It allows the interior of an object to be enlarged without changing its external dimensions. Particularly famous examples of such enchanted objects are Hermione’s beaded handbag, the Weasley tent, or Newt Scamander’s suitcase.
The practical applicability of the spell is literally enormous. You could live in the tiniest apartment and yet expand it from the inside into a princely palace. While traveling, you could conveniently stow all your luggage in a small handbag. And on trips, you’d always have your comfortable home with you.
Unfortunately, the spell is extremely complex and is also strictly controlled by the Ministry of Magic. Even if you own one or two magically enlarged items, you would rarely use the spell yourself. Therefore, Capacius Extremis only ranks 7th on this list.
