Accio.
Imagine you are lying on the couch, want to adjust the volume on the TV, but the remote is agonizingly far away. Accio remote, and suddenly you have it in your hand without moving an inch.
And where have those damn keys gone again? Accio keys, problem solved!
There is hardly a spell that the more relaxed witches and wizards among us would use more often than Accio. With the summoning spell, distant objects can simply be called forth. It’s particularly handy that you do not need to see the items or know exactly where they are located. Objects can travel large distances, as Harry impressively demonstrated during the Triwizard Tournament when he called his broom to him.
The only downside is that the summoned items might forcibly make their way to you if necessary. For example, when Fred and George called their confiscated brooms from Professor Umbridge’s office, they smashed straight through the office door. However, if you are careful, Accio is simply the perfect companion for everyday life. And if something does go wrong, luckily we already talked about Reparo.
