8. Did Thanos have a brother?
Film: Eternals (2021)
What happens in the scene? Eternals has 2 interesting post-credit scenes and one of them features a real pop star: Harry Styles as Eros, the brother of Thanos. At the end of the film, the surviving Eternals meet the troll Pip and Eros, also known as Starfox.
In the MCU, he seems to be only the adoptive brother of Thanos; in the comics, both originate from the same parents. Unlike his brother, he wants to have fun in the universe and enjoy his life. Occasionally, he also helps the heroes in the fight against his brother (via Marvel).
Will this scene ever be picked up? The film Eternals is a difficult entry in Marvel film history. Compared to other MCU films at the time, the film made less money, and critics also did not favor Eternals (via Rotten Tomatoes).
Since then, we have not heard anything from the Eternals, and only the dead body of the Celestial Tiamut has become part of the story in Captain America: Brave New World. As the focus currently lies on Dr. Doom as the villain, it will likely remain quiet regarding Eros, Thanos, and the Eternals for now.
