7. Where has Doctor Strange gone?
Film: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
What happens in the scene? After Doctor Strange has quelled the great danger posed by Wanda, everything seems to be normal again. At least for a short time, because the wizard is suddenly greeted by a mysterious figure played by Charlize Theron, as he has caused an Incursion
. He goes through a portal with the figure.
The mysterious figure is Clea, a sorceress from the Dark Dimension, from which the powerful villain Dormammu comes. The Incursion
is in the comics a dangerous event where two dimensions collide and are destroyed.
Will this scene ever be picked up? It is quite likely that it will continue. Doctor Strange is a popular character and the Incursion
is an important event, especially regarding the multiverse. Here as well, Secret Wars would be a good appearance.
The comic event Secret Wars from 2015 (there have been several) dealt with the Incursions and the destruction of the entire multiverse. The upcoming Secret Wars film could thus also be a new reset point for the MCU, making Doctor Strange essential.
