6. Does Spider-Man finally get a black suit in the MCU?
Film: Spider-Man: No Way Home
What happens in the scene? After Doctor Strange has erased the memories of all people in the third Spider-Man film of the MCU, it seems to be a new beginning for Peter Parker. All villains are back in their dimensions and in the post-credit scene, Eddie Brock, better known as Venom, returns.
Tom Hardy, who plays the character in the Sony trilogy, is sitting in a bar and wants to meet Spider-Man. While he and Venom are drunk, they are seemingly sent back to their dimension. However, a small piece of Venom remains in the known MCU universe.
Will this scene ever be picked up? Venom is a rather popular Marvel character, and as the Sonyverse
seems to be over, there is a possibility that Spider-Man will finally get the black suit. Whether this will happen in the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day is still unclear.
However, there is an announced film that would be perfect for the new suit: Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027. The symbiote suit made its first appearance in the comics in 1984, and its origin story was closely tied to the comic event Secret Wars. If they want to incorporate elements from that into the MCU, the film coming out in 2027 would be the perfect time.
