Karl Mordo
Film: Doctor Strange (2016)
What happens in the scene? After the credits in the first Doctor Strange, we see the character Karl Mordo, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor. The former sorcerer visits another sorcerer, attacks him, and seemingly steals his magical powers.
In a speech before the attack, he mentions that the true nature of a sorcerer is to twist things, steal power, and pervert nature. At the end of the scene, he states that there are too many sorcerers in the world. Apparently, his goal is to eliminate them.
Will this scene ever be picked up? After the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it is quite unlikely that Mordo’s crusade will be picked up again. Firstly, there was reportedly a cut scene where Wanda kills Mordo (via Moviepilot).
On the other hand, another version of Mordo appeared in the second Doctor Strange as Baron Mordo, also played by Chiwetel Ejiofor. Considering the post-credit scene in Doctor Strange 2, it is unlikely that Karl Mordo will return as a villain anytime soon.
