Thanos and Deadpool have had a little feud for quite a while. However, this is not because the villain wants to conquer the universe. The two are just in love with the same woman: Lady Death. By the way, she was one of the reasons why Thanos killed so many beings.
In Deadpool vs. Thanos, the two fight again over the powerful entity. During this time, Deadpool encounters a being called Uni-Power, which is supposed to protect Eternity. It bonds with Deadpool, creating a kind of Cosmic Deadpool. As Deadpool himself says, he is life itself.
While the anti-hero continues to mock Thanos in true Deadpool style, he manages to defeat his opponent. Thanos disintegrates and bids farewell with the words: No, once again … my love is rejected … once again I am … weak. And I die … alone.
