When the sequel to the surprise success Goat Simulator was released in 2022, the reviews were mixed – the Metacritic score stands at 68 to 78, depending on the platform. However, the truth is that Goat Simulator 3 has 96 percent positive on Steam. It is also true that we have already spent hundreds of hours of gameplay with the boys.
Similar to Wobbly Life, that also has a large sandbox, Goat Simulator 3 allows you to engage in wonderfully chaotic antics – but it’s even crazier than the yellow dudes.
Just the sheer number of references and secrets that can be found in the world is amazing. Additionally, there are countless items and forms that sometimes bring usable effects. You can then “delight” the inhabitants of the game world with them or combine them with other skills.
In some quests, you even influence areas of the game world: attract alien ships, blow up a dam, or create tornadoes and drop containers from the sky.
Goat Simulator 3 greatly benefits from slapstick situations triggered by the often absurd physics of the game, its animations, effects, or sometimes also bugs and glitches. In short: Here, there are many situations that many kids and young-at-heart parents will find hilarious. Our boys certainly can’t get enough of the game.
