New footage of Monster Hunter World (PC, PS4, Xbox) can be seen in a Japanese TV commercial. It mainly shows battle scenes between hunters and monsters.
Capcom released the first TV commercial for Monster Hunter World today in Japan. The advertisement is only 30 seconds long but reflects the dynamics of monster hunting well. It mainly features battle scenes of the hunt.
Some of the various hunting weapons are shown in action, and the monsters also attack each other. In Monster Hunter World, a realistic ecosystem is aimed to be created, where a logical food chain exists.

The advertisement also shows the three areas that have been released so far:
- the Ancient Forest: The forest resembles a tropical jungle and is huge. In the center is an ancient tree that is the heart of the forest.
- the Wildspire Waste: Everything here is dry and seems more dead than alive. Nevertheless, some creatures have settled here, which could also be due to the vast swamp area bordering the waste. Water flows from the ancient forest. The area is called Wildspire Waste because ants build giant hills resembling towers.
- the Coral Highlands: This area is completely new and resembles a coral reef. Curiously, the area is located on land and mimics the ebb and flow of the sea. The currents are created by air, causing coral eggs to float upwards.
First TV spot for Monster Hunter World – the release is not far off!
