In FIFA 20, the first new league has been announced. The Romanian Liga 1 is considered officially confirmed. We list all teams from this league.
This is the new league in FIFA 20: Recently, a photo surfaced on reddit showing a press conference by EA where the Romanian league was to be introduced as a new league in FIFA 20. Just a few hours later, official graphics followed, clearly showing the Romanian Liga 1:
On reddit, a video has now even been shared that introduces the Romanian league, thus confirming it as the first new league in FIFA 20:
This information has not yet been shared through EA Sports’ official English Twitter channel. However, it is considered confirmed due to the upper evidence in image and video form.
The Teams of the Romanian League in FIFA 20 – 1st new license
These are the teams you can play: Liga 1 is the top league in Romanian football. It includes 14 teams:

League is among the fan favorites in voting
Which league voting is it about? The fifplay website initiated a survey on which leagues fans want most for FIFA 20. So far, nearly 4.2 million players have voted with the following results:
- UAE League (top division of the United Arab Emirates) – 7%
- Finnish League – 7%
- Romanian Liga 1 – 6%
The Romanian league is therefore in the top 3 most desired leagues, followed by the fully licensed Brazilian league with 5% of all votes.
